ERA-NET WoodWisdom: Hybrid Cross Laminated Timber Plates
The main scientific and technological objectives of the project are the development of new types of hybrid cross laminated timber solid wood panels and optimization of production methods. Mechanical modeling and development of new assembly methods as well as production process planning are in the foreground.
In order to make these new developments accessible to the market, a possibility of theoretical (analytical) calculation is required to describe the load-bearing behavior of the load-bearing elements. If the project is successfully completed, no further problems should arise with regard to the design. However, possible adjustments could be made as experience is gained.
