Temporary Exhibition Building
With the task for a temporary art hall, two essential aspects of architecture - spatial effect and construction - come to the fore. Such a building must simultaneously have good spaces for exhibiting art and be able to be disassembled and transported without major effort. From this point of view, the design task will require a double deepening. Specifically, the work is divided into three steps. First, the analysis of exemplary galleries and temporary art halls. In parallel, we will visit the most important current art exhibitions in Vienna. Afterwards, independent concepts for spatial structures as well as constructive principles that allow for easy assembly and disassembly will be created from the gained knowledge. In the third phase, these conceptual fragments will be assembled into a coherent building design.
